I bought the jaycar antifouling system after reading the reviews on this site In australia i would get the rectifier from jaycar, look up the part and you will be able to get something similar from a local company Did the mounting right (i thought so) but everytime i switch the unit on i blow a fuse

If your fuse is less than 3a that would explain it.
