The guy that started this pitiful application, id (.)me, claims to be an army veteran. If so, how did yall resolve it? Never give out your user id or password, they are probably looking to steal your identity

Id.me is a legit company to verify your identity, the loan company receives verification through id me, not you giving them your user id and password. Has anyone else had such trouble with verifying their identity I intentionally chose that over id.me because i didn’t want to use a third party outside the government

Hopefully there’s a way to delete it later and recreate it with login.gov, assuming they ever implement the damn thing. Last year the nys clu and aclu sued the nys dol for not being forthcoming about how id.me is being used for their unemployment system. Don't use id.me they have a knack of suspending accounts (just take a look at the id me reddit page with all the veterans complaining about being locked out) always use login.gov, ds login is okay but they always use an identity verification company like login.gov or id.me for extra verification
Going to disagree with others, if i am trying to create an id.me account with someone else’s id i am not using their email address, same if trying to buy a boat fraudulently more likely you have an email address almost identical to someone else and they are giving the wrong email address id.me is very good at identity confirmation. Simple google search gives tons of info on id.me You can choose not to use them and let edd verify your identity, just be prepared to wait a couple of months while they do it. Hello i received an email from “id.me” that started with the following
“one id.me account is all you need you’re receiving this email because you created an id.me account connected to” and then it listed my email

One of my aunts encouraged my wife and i to download “id.me” in order to take advantage of the veteran discounts I have it and i have verified that i am a veteran I am just not sure if businesses are familiar enough with it to know that when i show it, it verifies that i am a veteran. I’ve called the va, and login.gov multiple times and they say that i have to figure out my id.me password
I told them that i’m not receiving the emails from id.me and they told me to submit a ticket on id.me which i have done 3 times now
