In ableton live, you can specify your own vst folder in addition to the system folder I wonder if say,korg would bother, perhaps contrary, it may convince someone to get real thing, giving credits would take care of ethical aspect and it is publicity If this folder is on your external hard drive and you take this drive into the studio, it should work.
