Do people replay or pause the puzzles and are therefore able to get those fast times I am by no means I just feel really stupid when i see how far off the median i am most of the time!

I seek your help in solving this difficult logic puzzle I have attached a screenshot to illustrate what the script does I am unable to proceed beyond a certain point and would appreciate any assistance given along with the rationale and reasoning for deriving the answer
