One is because some buyers will waster your time, offer less money when you show up, or just simply bail on you, and as a seller you have no way to penalize them for it at all. Just curious if anybody is actually still making any sales here, when i first joined before the letgo merge i was making somewhat consistent sales, after the merger i kept getting shadowbanned and eventually got my listings back up, i've started posting again and haven't made a sale in months, just your typical scammers trying to get your number, does anybody actually sell anything or is this. App wouldn't cover you if you send money to somebody If these inconsiderate buyers would just tell you from offer ups message system that unfortunately they only have half the money i could at least decide before meeting up wether or not to take a 50% loss. Offerup doesn't give the money to the seller , buyer has 3 days to inspect item and request a return in case of something wrong with item
Offerup uses paypal and paypal gives buyers protection.

Does anyone know how to get ahold of offerup’s customer service Their website says they’re available 7 days a week, but i’ve only received automated email replies when i’ve tried contacting them. I be trying to buy things on offer up and people don’t even respond Is it because i send them offers at like 3am

I have a lot of down time so i be at work online shopping Should i stop sending offers after midnight during the early morning? Shockingly learned don’t write offer up ever with any issue or they’ll disable your account I created new account with new email etc and my messages are not going through
Im buying items from sellers for my business & it became a business transactions on professional level. I've been flipping on and off for the past few years and it constantly seems like offerup consistently has the worst buyers of any major platform for buying and selling You post something like a relatively new macbook for $1000, and people think $300 is a fair offer, and this happens consistently, more than ever now Anybody else just feel like the app is full clowns and jokers that don't.
The reason why buyers ask sellers if the item is still available and it is clearly still up for sale , it’s because sellers forget 90% of time to put the item down as sold don’t want to waste my hope on that item and look for another, ok?!
I hate how often people will either stand you up completely or show up with half the money and expect you to sell the item regardless
