I have a pny 3090 revel and i was never happy with the temps so i looked into undervolting Didn’t realize how easy it is If my card is under 65c it will boost to 1905mhz and if it goes over 73c which rarely ever does, it drops to 1875 Some of the newer pc games are using more than 12 gb of vram also if you are a video editor i can definitively say this because i upscale videos to 8k and the 3090 converts videos in half the amount of time that the 3080 and 3070 converts.

3090 + p40 is what i've been running for several months It's nice to play with 70b models but things get slow when the context grows to about 4k I'll probably end up swapping the p40 for a second 3090 eventually to get faster speeds.
