My ipod 4th generation nano only works when plugged in If using a portable computer, make sure it is plugged into power and that the lid or display is open. But after repair i have same problem, my ipod nano 4st generation only work when plug in, and after searching at google an forum i just get answer to replace new battery Please email if you have different answer because i'm sure my battery still working, My ipod only works when plugged in I always keep my ipod plugged into my doc and it plays fine on there and when it comes off the battery life is great
But when its off the doc the click wheel wont work and it goes idle
I tried plugging it into the wall and the pad works fine.
